Three Students Receive 2024 Adkins Energy Scholarships

LENA, IL, June 12, 2024 — Adkins Energy LLC is proud to award three outstanding local students with $1000 scholarships to help them further their education. Entries for this year were judged on academic achievement and an essay: The electric car market in the United States is booming, particularly on the coasts. How do you see the electric car market progressing in the next decade and what impact does that have on the ethanol market and rural communities like ours?

Winners of this year’s scholarships are:

Bethany Shane from Iowa State University

Dausyn Heslop from Forreston High School

Owen Trone from Warren High School

Adkins Energy congratulates Bethany, Dausyn, and Owen along with all area graduates and wishes them good luck in their next endeavors, whether it is school or work (or a combination of both).
